Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Services
Aus3DPrinting (“A3P”, “we”, “us”) provides custom additive manufacturing (3D printing), computer-aided design (CAD), and 3D scanning services (“Services”).
By engaging A3P, the client (“Client”, “you”) agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Quotes and Payment

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Work will generally not commence until payment or deposit is received.
-
A3P reserves the right to require full or partial payment upfront.

3. Cancellations and Changes
-
Orders cancelled after work has commenced may incur charges for time, materials, and work completed.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has started.
-
Design changes after approval may incur additional costs and revised timelines.

4. Intellectual Property & Client Responsibility
-
The Client warrants they own or have permission to use any files, designs, or content supplied.
-
The Client indemnifies A3P against any claims arising from intellectual property infringement.
-
A3P reserves the right to refuse any job suspected of infringing third-party rights.

Design Ownership
-
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all CAD files and original designs created by A3P remain the property of A3P.

Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the design for its intended purpose.

Ownership transfer or exclusive rights may be negotiated separately.

5. Prohibited Items
A3P will not manufacture items that are illegal under Australian law, including but not limited to:

Firearms, weapon components, or prohibited weapons
-
Items intended for illegal activity
-
Counterfeit goods
-
Items promoting unlawful violence or discrimination

6. Design Approval
-
The Client is responsible for reviewing and approving all designs before production.
-
Once approval is given, A3P is not responsible for errors, omissions, or design suitability.
-
A3P may provide design suggestions or recommendations based on experience; however, these are provided as general guidance only and do not constitute engineering or professional advice.

The Client acknowledges that they are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability, functionality, and safety of the final design for its intended purpose.

7. Manufacturing Limitations

3D printed parts may contain inherent variations such as layer lines, surface marks, and minor dimensional tolerances.
-
Unless explicitly agreed, parts are intended for prototyping, decorative, or non-critical applications only.

A3P makes no guarantees regarding strength, durability, heat resistance, or fitness for a specific purpose.

A3P may offer advice and guidance, but no guarantee​

8. High-Risk / Critical Use

Unless explicitly agreed in writing, A3P products are not designed or intended for high-risk or critical applications, including but not limited to:
-
Automotive safety components
-
Load-bearing or structural applications
-
Aerospace, medical, or life-support systems
-

The Client agrees that any use of A3P products in such applications is entirely at their own risk.

The Client assumes full responsibility for testing, certification, and compliance with any applicable standards or regulations.

9. 3D Scanning Services
-
Scanning accuracy may vary due to object properties and environmental conditions.
-
Exact dimensional accuracy is not guaranteed unless agreed in writing.
-
A3P is not responsible for minor residues from scanning sprays or scanning markers where required.

10. Lead Times
-
Any quoted turnaround times are estimates only.
-
A3P is not liable for delays due to:
-
Equipment failure
-
Material shortages
-
Supplier or courier delays
-
Other circumstances beyond our control

11. Shipping and Risk
-
Risk in goods passes to the Client upon dispatch.
-
A3P is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays caused by third-party couriers.
-
Shipping insurance may be arranged at the Client’s request and cost.

12. Returns, Defects, and Refunds
-
Due to the custom nature of the Services, change-of-mind refunds are not provided.
-
If a product is defective due to a manufacturing fault, the Client must notify A3P within 7 days of receipt.
-
Remedies may include repair, replacement, or store credit, at A3P’s discretion.
-
Minor surface imperfections are not considered defects.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

A3P’s total liability is limited to:
-
The re-supply of the Services, or
-
The amount paid by the Client for the Services
-

A3P is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business interruption, or third-party claims.

14. Assumption of Risk
The Client acknowledges that:

3D printed products may fail under certain conditions
-
Use of any product is at the Client’s own risk
-
The Client is responsible for determining suitability for any specific application

15. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies the Client may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other applicable law.
Where permitted, A3P’s liability for breach of non-excludable guarantees is limited to:

Re-supplying the Services, or
-
Paying the cost of having the Services supplied again

16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
